Her firm has successfully mentored several staff members through the CA program and has been the long-term business accountant for internationally successful artists, performers and musicians.
Meredith has volunteered for multiple not-for-profit organisations, holding the position of Treasurer at Australian music youth organisation The Push between 2013 and 2019. She is often engaged as a commentator on accounting and tax-related matters in the creative industries.
Andrew Elmore has worked both in Public Practice and Private Industry since starting his career in 1998 and has been a Chartered Accountant since 2001. He established Darkwave Consulting in 2006 with Meredith Fannin.
Andrew’s early career was heavily focused in accounting across the Property, Hospitality and IT industries. Over time this has expanded into the creative fields working with Meredith at Darkwave to establish a broad range of specialisations across many business sectors. Andrew has a particular focus on improving internal business processes through the use of technology as the way forward for modern businesses to achieve their goals.
Having driven the early adoption of Xero within the Darkwave client family, Andrew has an unparalleled wealth of knowledge with the software that he is able to provide to those starting out with the software or wanting to improve their own knowledge.
Outside of work, you can usually find Andrew with friends catching up over a meal or watching Carlton at the MCG. His two daughters also keep him busy on weekends with various sporting and artistic pursuits around Melbourne.
